The hygger Aquarium ATO Pump Systems is a device designed to monitor and automatically add freshwater to an aquarium, replacing the water lost through evaporation. This helps maintain stable water and salinity levels, particularly in marine aquariums.

Usage Instructions: - To pause the refilling process, manually press the M button once. - To switch between refill and drainage modes, press and hold the M button until the light changes from blue to yellow.

Troubleshooting: - Flashing lights and an alarm indicate an inaccurate ATO monitor sensor calibration. Wipe the sensor and tank, remove the external monitor, and recalibrate. - Overfill protection: Remove the ATO monitor sensor, reposition and clean the tank wall. Avoid areas with bubbles and waves, and place the sensor on a calm water surface. - The plastic hose holder keeps the hose in place for aquariums up to 3/4 inch. - Ensure the water hose is installed above the water level to prevent siphoning when the pump turns off.

Working Principle: The refill control system uses dual optical sensors to monitor water shortage and full water status, automatically controlling the water pump and solenoid valves. When the water level drops below the detection point, the ATO receives an anhydrous signal and automatically refills the water. When the water level reaches the set position, the refilling process is automatically stopped.

Dual Fail-Safe Design: The hygger auto top-off kit includes a controller and a magnetic suction cup. The suction cup is installed on the inner side, and the controller on the outer side, aligned with the water level line to be detected. The external sensor monitors the reservoir's water level to prevent the water pump from running dry.

Overfill Protection: The system uses a top sensor to detect high water levels. If there is any malfunction, the ATO system alerts with flashing lights and a beeping sound, and automatically shuts off the water pump when the water level exceeds the desired maximum top-off level. This feature is suitable for both marine and freshwater aquariums.

Drainage Capability: The kit includes a mini DC-powered water pump and a soft hose that can effectively pump water from a bucket with a head height of up to 2 meters. This allows for draining dirty water out of the tank as well.
